Gold Derby was on the red carpet and backstage in the press room for Sunday’s 2018 Creative Arts Emmys to chat with many of this year’s nominees (See the complete list of winners). Among the Emmy contenders we chatted with in downtown Los Angeles were Kenan Thompson (“Saturday Night Live”), RuPaul Charles (“RuPaul’s Drag Race”) and Judd Apatow (“The Zen Diaries of Garry Shandling”).
Once again this year the Creative Arts ceremonies were separated into two different nights, with Saturday focusing on scripted fare and Sunday celebrating nonfiction/reality. The live Primetime ceremony will air Monday, September 17 on NBC, hosted by “SNL” stars Colin Jost and Michael Che.
